The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information: Name, postal address, contact number, email address, gender and money received.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- You have placed an order via the website (CharityCakes.co.uk) and there a transaction has taken place.
- You wish to donate for one of the causes to support those in need.
- You have opted to be a volunteer.
- You have opted to receiving future marketing and promotional content.
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:
- From STRIPE who process the payments on our behalf when you place an order via our website.
We use the information that you have given us in order to process your order, confirm payment, contact you if there are any issues with your order, arrange delivery to the address you have provided and to obtain feedback from you to help us improve our service.
We may share this information with Eman Channel & Eman Academy.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information
We also securely store your data on an excel spreadsheet on the Microsoft servers who have their own private policy.
We keep the above mentioned information for a period of no longer than 24 months.
We will then dispose your information from our website by deleting it securely from the website and the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet replacing any back-up already take with new back-ups that will not hold your information.
Cookies can also be used to remember certain information, such as in the case of email subscription, to help us know if you are already signed up.
You do have the option to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can also choose to disable all cookies through your browser settings. However, should you choose to turn cookies off, this may cause problems with the functionality of our website.

However, we will never share or allow third-parties any access to your personal information, or allow them to use the information gathered through cookies on our behalf.
